Liudas Jurkonis is an associate partner and leader of fraud investigation and dispute services (FIDS) for the Baltic States, with more than 14 years in forensic investigations, fraud risk advisory and internal control review services.

His presentation will focus on the description of recent enforcement trends within the most sensitive areas of compliance, including but not limited to current anti-corruption / anti-bribery, competition compliance, (public) procurement execution and other. The discussion will be based on the recent fraud surveys conducted by EY on a global, regional and national levels as well as the presentation of practical case studies analysed by EY's fraud investigation team.

Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT)

jovitas_raskevicius.jpgThe service is a statutory law enforcement institution accountable to the President and Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania that detects and investigates corruption offences and develops and implements corruption prevention measures.

Reduction of the spread of corruption is a common task of the Lithuanian state authorities and the public at large. STT plays a facilitator’s role in putting together anti-corruption activities into a consistent and streamlined system.

The presentation will be given by Jovitas Raškevičius, Head of Tactical Analysis Department.
