Lithuanian economy – what to expect in 2017?

You are cordially invited to the monthly EBN Breakfast event that will take place under the auspices of the Embassy of Estonia,
on the 19th of January at 08:30 at the Radisson Blu Lietuva (Konstitucijos pr.20)

With the new Minister of Economy in charge, we will receive an interesting insight of the major plans for the upcoming years, possible changes of the economic environment and investment climate in Lithuania. The presentation will also address the economic outlook of Lithuania for 2017.

Mindaugas Sinkevičius
Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania

Mr. Sinkevičius is appointed the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania from 13 December 2016. Before that he was twice elected the Mayor of the Jonava District Municipality, in which position he served from 2011 to 2016. From 2008 to 2011, Mr. Sinkevičius worked as Deputy Mayor of Jonava. He has a wide experience in the sectors of business and the NGO’s. 

Mr. Sinkevičius’ academic background includes a PhD from ISM University of Management and Economics, obtained in 2015. Previously, in 2009 he acquired a qualifying degree of Master of Management and Business Administration at the same university. He also has a Bachelor’s degree of Law from Mykolas Romeris University and a Bachelor’s degree of Management and Business Administration from Vilnius University.
